Ed Hazen and Sue Holbink have shared a passion for environmental issues as well as for the arts
for most of their adult lives. With combined experience and backgrounds in engineering, architecture, alternative and
solar energy, fine arts, business development, advertising & marketing, and experience in the for-profit
and not-for-profit sectors, they are well prepared for this new venture.
Both Ed and Sue are principals in eds bits, a successful five year old Web and graphic design firm
located in Fall City, Washington. Their clientele include organic farms, environmental agencies, high-tech companies,
online service businesses, and a variety of other small locally owned businesses.
Ed Hazen
Ed has a diverse background in small business ownership, software development, building engineering, design and
construction.
Previous Professional Experience: Director of Product Development, Digital Goods; Project Manager and Designer, Hazen Construction; Kitchen
Designer and Installer, Resources kitchen Studio; Solar Heating Engineer, Resources Incorporated.
Education: Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, School of Architecture, B.S. Building Science with emphasis in Computer
Aided Architecture and Solar Heating Design; additional courses and seminars in programming at the University
of Washington, Rochester Institute of Technology, Adobe Systems, Inc. and Microsoft Corporation.

Sue Holbink
Sue has twenty years management experience, primarily in the non-profit, healthcare sector. After her
career in nursing, she has successfully transitioned to the world of graphic design and Web programming
at eds bits.

Medical Center; Director Hospital Based Services, Park Ridge Hospital, Rochester, NY; Director
of Acute Services, Rochester Mental Health Center.
